Networking - Legal
I use this part of Social Notes to promote businesses and
networking opportunities that I think might be of interest
to all of you.  If you haven't yet sent me a blurb about your
business, I hope you'll get around to it soon.

Please note the Navigation Bars on the left-hand side of
this page.  I finally got around to subdividing the
Networking section to make it easier to find things!
Divorcing?  Consider Mediation
Mediation is an excellent process to help lesbian couples divide up the
property, debt, pets and all those things near and dear to your heart.  And it
gives you legal protection.  A third neutral outside party, a mediator,
facilitates the process with the divorcing couple.  When couples have a signed
“Mediated Settlement Agreement” which describes how everything will be
divided, it  has the binding properties of a contract.  Merrie S. "M.S."
Jimeson is a credentialed mediator (TMCA) who can help make your divorce
easier.  (And it is very cost effective--$250/half day/party.)  Her company
is Mediation Solutions at 713.864.3190,
email her or check out her web site.
She’s also available to speak to groups.

Houston Civil Process
Houston Civil Process is a new lesbian-run civil processing business in
Houston.  Jennifer Cantrell is a pre-law college student that has started this
business in hopes of networking within the legal profession in Houston.  She
is actively seeking new clients, so if you are an attorney, paralegal, or work
in a law office, please contact her regarding your process serving needs.  She
has an extremely competitive fee schedule, and will personally attend to
your cases in a fast, efficient, and reliable manner.  Document pick-up,
attempts, affidavits, and court filings are included in the fee schedule.  All
new clients will recieve 50% off their first service as a thanks for giving
Houston Civil Process a try. Contact Jennifer at 713-377-0373 or
 email her.

Need a Criminal Lawyer?
Well, you'd probably be better off selecting a lawyer specializing in criminal
offenses, rather than a criminal lawyer, but perhaps I am just splitting hairs.
Anywho, if you are in the unfortunate position of facing DWI, drug or other
criminal charges, give Clyde Williams a call.  She (yes, Clyde is a she) is with
the firm Williams and Warren (how nice for her that she got top billing!),
which practices in Houston and The Woodlands.   713-236-0064 in Houston
and (936) 271-4000 in the Woodlands/Conroe area.

Lawyer Specializing in Real Estate, Probate and Family Law

domestic partner estate planning and same sex adoptions.   With offices in
