Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG) PFLAG's mission is to support, educate and advocate:

Houston Shades of Beauty Houston Shades of Beauty is a social group dedicated to bringing lesbian womyn together for entertainment, networking, and bonding purposes. We will sponsor social events that:
- Entertain: Create an environment that will allow "us" to meet,
mingle, and get to know other professional womyn in the Houston metro area and beyond.
- Network: Provide womyn with a networking resource that will prove
to be beneficial both on and off the job.
- Bond: Institute a forum that will discuss various issues that face
lesbian womyn in their day-to-day lives. We want to ensure that you have someone to talk to and know that you are not alone.
