Whether your organization is a large charitable group, or simply a
Friday night poker club looking for new members, my readers might
want to know about you.  Send me a blurb (don't forget to include
contact info), and I'll post it here.

Be sure to check the Navigation Bar to the left.  I have subdivided
the Clubs category to make it easier to find things.

Houston Area Stonewall Democrats (HASD)
HASD works to elect fair-minded Democrats who share the concerns
of the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community.

We meet on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at Ziggy's Healthy Grill
(Alabama @ Greenbriar). Our meeting starts at 6:30 pm, but many of
us gather at 6 pm to order food and visit.

In 2008, we'll have lots of opportunities for networking and making
friends through political and social events. Our members engage in all
types of campaign activities -making a real difference for our
targeted, fair-minded candidates. We also have frequent conversations
with Democratic party officials about why our families need and
deserve more support from our party and its elected officials.

This year, we are eager to elect as many delegates to the Democratic
National Convention in Denver from HASD as possible. Join us as we
expand our community's influence at the local and state levels of the
Democratic Party.

We enthusiastically embrace and appreciate all of our "straight"'
members and allies.  All due-paying members of HASD are
automatically members of National Stonewall Democrats & the Texas
Stonewall Democratic Caucus.  To find out more about HASD, visit
their
website or call Teresa Herrin at 713.449.5767.
