Sacred Circle, Ongoing Community Spiritual Support Group Looking for spiritual and practical guidance and support? Awakening within a Sacred Circle, Ongoing Community Spiritual Support Group. It is our deep pleasure to help create this ongoing community group with a focus on learning, healing, resolving issues and creating the kind of life that we all want. In this ongoing Community Spiritual Support Group you will: • Feel supported to be who you are • Learn new tools for being present with “what is” • Increase your self-awareness skills • Build your capacity to give and receive love • Apply spiritual principles to every day living • Create more harmony and peace inside yourself and with others
This group is facilitated by four people with sincere interest, experience and training in the art and science of relationships, community development and spiritual practices: Marilyn Woodard & Brenda Thompson have been life partners for more than 16 years. Both are Certified Teachers in the Toltec spiritual lineage of don Miguel Ruiz, best selling author of The Four Agreements. Brenda is a member of the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma. Devan Tindall, C. H. is a certified hypnotist and life coach in private practice in Houston. Bebe Cooper, LMSW is a licensed psychotherapist in private practice providing supportive counseling. Lesbian Health Initiative (LHI) There is an ever increasing need for health services for those without health insurance in the Houston Metropolitan area. LHI is an all volunteer organization focused on bringing much needed health services at no cost to these LGBT women. These services include free mammograms and some follow-up diagnostic care if needed, free individual blood tests, oral cancer screening, and more, along with a diverse array of health education materials. LHI offer these services at local Health Fairs held on the first Saturday of June and November respectively.
